Israel Adesanya beats Paulo Costa to retain middleweight belt at UFC 253
Nigerian born Israel Adesanya beat Brazilian Paulo Costa to retain his UFC belt.
Adesanaya who is the reigning middleweight Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) champion beat Costa in round two to retain his belt on Sunday, September 27th.
Despite being champion Adesanaya was seen as the underdog following his performance against Yoel Romero.
He however produced a sublime performance to emerge victorious at UFC 253 in Abu Dhabi
