Paul Onuachu and Cyriel Dessers started together for the first time this season as they both got on the score sheet in Genk’s 4-0 win over Eupen – their fifth of the season.
Onuachu gave the home side the lead in the 5th minute via a spot-kick as he registers his 9th goal in 10 league appearances this season.
The centre forward rounded off a brilliant night as he provided the assist to Cyriel Dessers’ goal three minutes into the second half.
Cyriel Dessers, who unfortunately didn’t make it to coach Gernot Rohr’s 24-man list for next month’s AFCON qualifiers, has 3 goals in 8 appearances for the Belgian side as they sit in 4th with 19 points after 11 games.
However, Paul Onauchu is on placed on standby as the Super Eagles play Sierra-Leone in a double-header next month.
