Reactions still trail Super Eagles disappointing four-all draw against Sierra-Leone yesterday at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City.
The team’s captain, Ahmed Musa in a video recording apologized to Nigerians for the draw which is more or less from the reactions on social media.
The President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Melvin Pinnick has also reacted to the schocking outcome of the match.
He said yesterday’s result is worse since he became the President of the Federation and he will find it difficult to sleep in the days ahead.
He said;
Since I became the NFF president, this is the worst result I have ever seen. In the next few days, I wonder how I’m going to sleep. This isn’t because we won’t qualify for AFCON but it’s our last home game for the year.
The Super Eagles will take on Sierra-Leone in the return leg fixture slated for Tuesday at the Siaka Stevens Stadium.
The players according to reports, will travel to Freetown on Monday.
