Super Eagles midfielder might be available for selection ahead of the team’s last Africa Cup of Nations Qualifier against Lesotho in Lagos on Tuesday.
Alex Iwobi was excused from the team against Benin Republic on Saturday after he tested positive for COVID-19 a few minutes to the start of the match.
However, reports suggest that the NFF have rejected Alex Iwobi’s test result in Benin.
Consequently, the player will undergo another test in Lagos when the team arrive.
Alex Iwobi is likely to be in the team again if his result reads negative.
The Everton midfielder has been in self-isolation as the team head back to Lagos after securing qualification for next year’s tournament.
