Otherwise referred to as Adamasingba among the locals, the Lekan Salami Stadium is a multipurpose sports facility in the heart of Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.
It is the home ground of former Nigeria Premier League Champions who currently play in the Nigeria National League side, Shooting Stars.
Renovation works began at the facility after incumbent Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde approved the remodelling of the stadium, August 2020.
No less than eight months after work began at the facility, recent visuals show that the Lekan Salami Stadium now wears a new look with all stands covered, a new lighting system, improved playing surface among other renovations.
