The iconic Wembley Stadium in England is set to be named as the new hist for the 2021 Champions League final.
The all-English final between Chelsea and Man City was billed for the Ataturk Stadium in Instanbul but UEFA are now considering moving it to the Wembley Stadium over the COVID-19 situation in Turkey.
Turkey are currently on lockdown due to the pandemic and it is also on United Kingdom’s Red list for travelers.
Although UEFA are yet to confirm venue change it is becoming likely that the Champions League final will be moved to Wembley eventually after the UK government met with UEFA last week.
Wembley Stadium last hosted a Champions League final in 2013 when Bayern Munich triumphed over Borrusia Dortmund.
