Lingard dethrones Iheanacho as Premier League Player of the Month
There is news about Super Eagles of Nigeria forward Kelechi Iheanacho.
West Ham forward Jesse Lingard has dethroned Iheanacho as the Premier League Player of the Month.
Lingard was announced as the Premier League Player of the Month for April on Friday, May 14th.
Lingard who was nominated in February and March finally won the award.
Lingard scored four goals and contributed an assist in April for West Ham.
Lingard beat an eight-man shortlist that also included Trent Alexander-Arnold, Stuart Dallas, Mason Greenwood, Kelechi Iheanacho, Matheus Pereira, Allan Saint-Maximin and Chris Wood to win the award.
