Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa marked his return to Nigeria Professional League in Kano Pillars 1-0 victory over Adamawa United at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna.
Ahmed Musa, who was given the captain’s armband team captain, Rabiu Ali marked his debut by providing the assist for Rabiu Ali’s late goal in the match.
The Super Eagles went on to host players and staff of Kano Pillars for a celebratory dinner at his residence.
Kano Pillars are currently second on the log behind Akwa United with 40 points after 21 games.
The Masu Gidas will take on Katsina United next as they continue their bid to win the league title for the first time since 2014.
