D’Tigers lose 68-77 to Ivory Coast in final group game at 2021 Afrobasket
There is news about Nigeria’s senior men’s basketball team known as D’Tigers.
On Sunday, August 29th D’Tigers suffered a 68-77 loss to Ivory Coast in their final group game at the ongoing FIBA Afrobasket
D’Tigers lost the first quarter 11-20 but bounced back to take the second quarter 23-19.
D’Tigers then lost the third and fourth quarters with a scoreline of 13-15, 21-23.
D’Tigers won their opening two group games against Mali and Kenya and should still make the quarterfinals of the competition.
