“We’re going for 10th!” – Ngozi Okobi celebrates Super Falcons’ victory

Super Falcons and Eskilstuna United forward, Ngozi Okobi has celebrated her team’s victory over Burundi in the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup Of Nations (WAFCON).

The Super Falcons defeated the Swallows of Burundi 4-0 at the Moulay Hassan Stadium Rabat, Morocco on Sunday July 10.

Rasheedat Ajibade scored the first goal of the game via penalty after she was fouled in the box.

Peace Efih scored the second goal of the game and Uchenna Kanu made it 3-0 before halftime.

Kanu completed her brace after the break to seal the victory for the team.

Okobi celebrated the win on Twitter.

“#WAFCON2022 this is just getting started @NGSuperFalcons yes we’re going for 10th,”she Tweeted.

She scored four goals from 15 games in the Swedish Damallsvenkan in the 2022 season.

Up next for the Super Falcons is the quarter final game with the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroun on Thursday July 14.
