Premier League club, Nottingham Forest have signed English forward Jesse Lingard from Manchester United this summer transfer window.
According to the Athletic Lingard was linked to the club earlier in the week.
The 29 year old is set to join the club for preseason friendly with Bundesliga team Union Berlin after completing his medical.
He was also linked to former club, West Ham United but opted to join the newly promoted Premier League side who have recruited the likes of Taiwo Awoniyi,Neco Williams,Wayne Henessy,Dean Henderson amongst others ahead of the 2021/22 season.
Lingard scored two goals from 16 Premier League appearances for Manchester United last year.
Nottingham finished fourth in the Championship last season with 80 points from 46 matches.
