If you have already drafted a line-up for the Super Eagles ahead of their AFCON qualifiers against Lesotho and Benin Republic, then you will need to do some subtractions and additions.

Key Super Eagles players have been pulling out of the two matches. For some, injuries while others didn’t get sanctions from their clubs to participate in the qualifiers.

Leganes of Spain defender, Kenneth Omeruo is the latest player to opt-out of the qualifiers due to his recovery from a recent injury. The player has been replaced by Abia Warriors defender, Adekunle Adeleke.

Only yesterday, Enyimba’s Emmanuel Anayo was called up in place of another Spanish based star Sadiq Umar whose club, UD Almeria blocked his debut appearance for the Super Eagles based on the second variant of the COVID-19 virus, a club statement confirmed.

So far three NPFL players have been called up to the team;

John Noble (Enyimba)

Anayo Iwuala (Enyimba)

Adeleke Adekunle (Abia Warriors).
