Again! Fans express worry as Super Eagles seal qualification into World Cup playoffs 2

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have qualified for the 2022 World Cup play-off after the last round of matches against Capo Verde ended one goal apiece at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Surulere.

Victor Osimhen put the Eagles ahead with an early goal in the 1st minute but Stopira pulled level after latching on to a corner kick in the 5th minute.

The result now sees Nigeria finishing top of the four-team log with 13 points from 6 matches.

Cape Verde, the island nation that made a big impact by reaching the quarterfinals at its first African Cup in 2013, have fought hard enough to finish 2nd on the log narrowly missing out on her first major attempt to reaching the World Cup.

Even though the Super Eagles got the needed result, a section of fans online are still not confident in the team.
