Super Eagles captain has instructed the management of his filling station “MyCa7” in Kano to sell Petroleum Premium Spirit (PMS) for N580 per liter as opposed to the N618 official prize.
Ahmed Musa made this known on his official Twitter page on Monday.
Musa wrote: *Fuel #580 @MYCA -7 Filling Station Kano. 🏃♀️🏃♀️,
Recall that Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited announced the increment of PMS a few days ago following the removal of fuel subsidy by the Federal Government.
When asked by an excited user, “Scala @lakaas123” why he is selling at that rate considering his fuel station is in Kano, not Lagos, Musa replied: “That is what me I decide to sell my own 🤷♂️.”
Reports have it that the footballer decided to reduce the price of fuel at his filling station in a bid to help motorists save money considering the official price is N617.
Ahmed Musa is also a philanthropist as he often takes part in charitable ventures such as awarding scholarships to students and building schools and recreational centers across the country.
The former Kano Pillars winger currently plays for Sivasspor in the Turkish Super League.
