Anthony Nwakaeme scores in Trabzonspor’s win against Yeni Matalyaspor
Super Eagles striker Anthony Nwakaeme scored his first goal of the new season.
Nwakaeme was on target in Trabzonspor’s 3-1 home win against Yeni Matalyaspor in a Turkish Super League encounter on Saturday, September 26th.
Nwakaeme however was not the hero of the game for Trabzonspor.

DR Congo forward Benik Afobe put Trabzonspor in front in the 24th minute. He got his second in the 33rd minute to double their lead.
Nwakaeme added a third for Trabzonspor in the 45th to give them a comfortable cushion going to the halftime break.
Matalyaspor pulled one back when Adem Buyuk converted a penalty in the 77th minute.

It was not enough as Trabzonspor picked up all three points.
