The Gunners needed a win and went in front as early as the 21st minute when Bukayo Saka provided a delicious ball to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The Gunners maintained the lead to the halftime break and needed the win to increase their Champions League aspirations.
The Gunners, however, suffered a blow in the 75th minute as Edward Nketiah who came in for Alexandre Lacazette four minutes earlier was sent off given a straight red card by Chris Kavanagh.
With a numerical advantage, Leicester City found an equalizer when Jamie Vardy converted a ball through to him by Demarai Gray in the 84th minute.
Arsenal held on for a point despite late pressure from Leicester City. The result however is not favorable for both teams in their hopes for Champions League football next season.
With Chelsea securing a win earlier and Manchester United to play later, Leicester City may drop out of the top four while Arsenal are still seventh.
