Super Falcons defender Ashleigh Plumptre marked her debut for Al Ittihad in the Saudi Professional Women’s League in style on Saturday.
The versatile defender scored three goals in her first match for her new club as they cruised to 3 nil win over the Eastern Flames, the team of her national team mate (Tochukwu Oluehi)
Plumptere’s first goal was a ferocious shot from.the edge of the box following a loose ball that feel through to her.
The Super Falcons defender doubled the lead of her team on the 60th minute mark. She beat the offside trap as he tapped a ball from a free-kick into Oluehi’s goal post.
The former Leicester City center back completed her Hattrick on the night from a deft square ball which she buried into the bottom right corner to seal the victory for the home side.
