Asisat Oshoala welcomes more African players to Spain
Super Falcons of Nigeria captain has welcomed the movement of more African players to Spain.
Oshoala who is a four-time African women player of the year winner is one of the first Africans to move to Spain when she joined Barcelona Femeni.
In recent weeks more African players have joined the Spanish Primera Division Women top flight.
This includes Super Falcons of Nigeria forward Rasheedat Ajibade ho joined Atletico Madrid.
Oshoala took to her official Twitter account to reveal that the move to Spain is great.
She said, “In this game ehn, always represent your continent well because your performance go open door for others. It’s super important. It’s not a burden , it’s a RESPONSIBILITY. Happy to see my sisters making those moves….welcome to Spain sisters.
