Not only did Aston Villa made Liverpool walk alone, they utterly destroyed Jurgen Klopp’s men in what will go down as one of the most remarkable nights in the history of Aston Villa.

Aston Villa made Liverpool erased the anguish and sorrow  suffered by Manchester United earlier in the day as Dean Smith’s men annihilated the Premier League champions 7-2 at Villa Park.

Ollie Watkins was the star performer on the night as the £30m striker bagged a hattrick on the night.

Ollie Watkins becomes the 10th player to score a League hat-trick against Liverpool. He is also the first player to do so against the Reds since Dimitar Berbatov in September 2010.
