Spanish giants Atletico Madrid have unveiled their new away kit for the upcoming 2020/21 football season.
The new kit by Atletico Madrid was unveiled on Friday, July 31st.
Atletico Madrid unveiled their new kit through a statement on their social media accounts which said, “United by the heart, united by Atleti.
“Trident emblem We present our second kit for the 2020/21 season!”
The new away kit like their home kit was designed by international sportswear brand Nike.
A statement on the official website of Atletico Madrid talks about the design concept tied with their history which are reflected on the new away kit.
The statement said, “The blue color predominates in the second uniform of the next course, although it has red details on the neck of the shirt and on the sides of it and the pants, while in the socks some gradient lines mark the transition between both.
“However, the main feature of this kit is found on the inside back of the neck. In it is reflected the trident of Neptune, symbol of the Roman god in whose fountain we celebrate the rojiblancos successes.
“This monument is one of the most recognizable and characteristic of Madrid, as well as one more example of the historical connection of our club with the city that saw us born more than 117 years ago.”
