Super Eagles manager Austin Eguavoen has released the squad list for Super Eagles final round of qualifiers for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
The interim manager as against the public outcry for the inclusion of some home-based players in the squad with the Super Eagles needing just a point to seal qualification, did otherwise.
However, only one home-based player made the team; Nasarawa United defender Victor Collins who’s expected to rival Bruno Onyemechi for the left back position.
Austin Eguavoen invited most of theforeign-based players who started the qualification series back in September.
Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen makes a return to the team after missing out of the October window due to injury.
Sadiq Umar also returns to team for the first time since March where he was an unused sub in the 2 nil loss to Mali in an international friendly match.
Former Luton Town defender, Gabriel Osho gets another opportunity to feature for the Super Eagles after pulling out of his first invite due to injury.
