Super Eagles striker Taiwo Awoniyi bagged a brace and also won the Man of the Match accolade in Nottingham Forest’s Premier League game against Chelsea.

Nottingham Forest drew 2-2 with Chelsea on Saturday, May 13 at Stamford Bridge in their fight to avoid relegation as the English Premier League draws to a close.

Taiwo Awoniyi and Raheem Sterling scored a brace each in the pulsating encounter at Stamford Bridge.

The former Union Berlin striker was the standout performer in the game as he scored two goals from two shots against the Blues.

His goals restored Nottingham Forest’s three points gap above the relegation zone as his side look to avoid the drop this season.

Awoniyi has scored eight goals and recorded one assist in 25 Premier League games this season.

Forest are 16th in the Premier League table having accumulated 34 points after 36 matches.
