Bayern prioritises move for Kane over Osimhen

German Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich appear to be looking in the direction of signing English top striker Harry Kane over Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen this summer according to reports.

Bayern Munich have been reportedly linked to Osimhen as the ideal replacement for Robert Lewandowski who left the club last summer for Bayern Munich after 8 years at the club.

However, the Bayern Munich hierarchy have now switched attention to Tottenham’s all-time top scorer Harry Kane according to Sky Deutschland transfer market reporter Florian Plettenberg.

The Bavarians believe that getting Kane for less than a €100m is more plausible than meeting the valuation of Osimhen who is currently valued at €200m by Napoli.

Victor Osimhen and Harry Kane had a brilliant individual season for their respective club sides last season. While Harry Kane scored 31 goals in 32 matches, Osimhen scored 31 goals in 39 matches which saw Napoli win the league title for the first time in 33 years.

The 24-year-old striker was also named the best striker in the Serie A as he won the golden boat award as well.

Both players have also been linked to Manchester United this summer as the Red Devils continue their search for a top striker.
