A trader identified as Mallam Kawu Mohammed in what can be described as an act of sheer benevolence built a 13-bed maternity/clinic for his community in Jos.
The new facility is located along Yalwa road in Jos, the capital of Plateau State and according to the trader, he built the facility to offer free health care services to his community members.
This development was made known by one Abdul-Majid Lawan Waziri who was invited as a guest of honour at the opening ceremony of the facility.
Waziri posted pictures of the facility on his Facebook page with the caption;
Meet Malam Kawu Muhammed, the Jos trader who built a thirteen (13) bed clinic/maternity in Mile 7 Yalwa Road, Jos Plateau State. I was invited as a guest to grace the commissioning of the facility. All registrations with relevant authorities have been fully made and all is set for effective use. May Allah bless us with many of his kind in our communities.
