Super Eagles forward Victor Boniface scored a brace in Bayer Leverkusen’s Bundesliga win over Heidenheim.
Bayer thrashed Heidenheim 4-1 on Sunday, September 24 at the Bay Arena.
Boniface scored the opening goal of the game in the ninth minute of the match.
Eren Dinkci equalised for the away team in the 53rd minute to put pressure on the hosts.
Jonas Hofmann gave Bayer the lead once again in the 63rd minute and Boniface converted a penalty 11 minutes later to complete his brace.
Moroccan winger Amine Adli scored in the 82nd minute to complete the rout for Bayer Leverkusen.
Boniface has racked up six goals and two assists in five Bundesliga matches this season.
Bayer are second on the Bundesliga table with 13 points after five games in the division.
