The much awaited National Sports festival in Edo State: South South Nigeria has been postponed due to the widespread of #Coronavirus according to information reaching us at this moment.
In series of tweets from the official handle of the Minister of Youth and Sports Development: Mr Sunday Dare, a meeting was held with the Ministry of health concerning the potential postponement of the festival with the state of the Corona Virus and President Muhammadu Buhari was also briefed about the meeting.
Mr Sunday Dare officially announced that President Buhari has officially approved the postponement of the festival to a later date:

In as much as the Corona Virus has been successfully tackled in the country, there has been a public outcry for the Sports Festival to be cancelled due to the spread of Corona Virus and many have given Kudos to the two Ministries as well as the Federal Government for doing the needful as regards the festival.
