Enyimba’s midfielder Dayo Ojo has gained freedom from his abductors according to information gathered from the club’s official handle a few minutes ago.
The club tweeted thus:

Our midfielder man, Dayo Ojo has regained freedom from his kidnappers 💪👏

Dayo Ojo was kidnapped on the 22nd of March along the Benin-Ore road as he journeyed to Akure following the break in all football activities in the country due too the spread of Coronavirus. Pandemic.
At the moment, it is unclear whether a ransom was paid by either by Enyimba or the player’s family for his release.
The club is yet to give an official statement as regards his release as at the time of publishing this report.
