The Federal Government of Nigeria has placed a travel ban on thirteen different countries around the world with the spread of the deadly #coronavirus across major parts of Europe. The ban came on the back of the third case of Coronavirus pandemic victim in the country who came into the country via a British airline a few days ago as well as public outcry especially on social media for the closure of all land, air and sea borders of the country.
The countries affected are listed as follows: the United State of America, the United Kingdom, China, Japan, Iran, Switzerland, Norway, Netherland, France, South Korea, Germany, Italy, and Spain.  These countries have more than one thousand confirmed cases of coronavirus domestically.
According to reports, all passengers returning to these counties before the restriction announced will be placed on isolation and will be monitored by health authorities in the country. The Federal Government has also banned visas on arrival for passengers from any of these countries.
