The Super Eagles of Nigeria have been drawn against Sierra Leone, Guinea Bissau and Sao Tome and Principe in Group A of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The draw was held online via CAF’s YouTube page on Tuesday evening.
The Super Eagles will take on Sierra Leone, who are unbeaten against the team in two matches.
Guinea Bissau will look to get their pound of flesh back having lost 2 nil to Nigeria during the last AFCON in Cameroon.
Nigeria will be taking on Sao Tome and Principle for the first time.
The qualifiers will commence in June 2022 and the Super Eagles will look to qualify for another major tournament after missing out on the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
Cote D’Ivoire will host the 34th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations in 2023.
