Super Eagles star striker Victor Osimhen is set to join Saudi Pro League side Al Ahli for a fee in the region of €80m.
Osimhen’s transfer saga which has been on for over 2 months is finally over as he’s set to sign for Al Ahli on transfer deadline day.
The Nigerian striker will earn about €30m per year and his four years contract also includes a release cause.
European football transfer genius Fabrizio Romano confirmed in the news on Friday morning on his official X page.
“Napoli reach total agreement with Al Ahli for Victor Osimhen! Club to club deal done for €75/80m total package, Al Ahli have already booked a medical.”
“Four year contract worth €25/30m per season net to Osimhen + RELEASE clause. Final green light up to Victor.”
Osimhen was also linked to Chelsea but the Premier League side reportedly failed to match Osimhen’s £500K per week wage demand.
The reigning African Footballer of the year leaves the former Serie A champions four years after he moved to the club from Lille on a club record fee.
The 26-year-old led Napoli to the league title for the first time in 33 years two seasons ago with 26 goals and 4 assists in 32 matches.
Osimhen leaves Napoli as one of the club’s most prolific strikers with 76 goals in 133 matches over four years.
