British boxer Anthony Joshua prays for Nigeria after many shot dead
Britsih boxer of Nigerian descent Anthony Joshua has come out t give his support to the peaceful protests in Nigeria.
Joshua took to his official social media pages to post a video pleading with the President Muhammadu Buhari led administration to find common ground with the protestors.
After it was confirmed that several were shot dead after a reported ambush, Joshua issued a statement of support.

“The situation has escalated, the violence and killings are horrendous. All because of people saying they want to live in peace?
I pray God opens the gates for the heroes of Nigeria! This was never a trend for me! Itβs real life and I want to learn how to make lasting change.
Iβm looking at hospitals to support, along with food and care packages in the time being.
