Chelsea came into the narrative of Premier League winners in 2005 which out an end to the dominance of Manchester United and Arsenal in the early 2000s.

On this day in 2006, Jose Mourinho led Chelsea to second Premier League title with a resounding 3-0 annihilation of Alex Ferguson’s Manchester United as well as amassing 91 points at the end of the season.
