On July 4th, 2015 Chile beat Argentina 4-1 on penalties to win the Copa America.
The game was closely contested for 90 minutes and after extra time no goals were scored then came penalties.
Chile as hosts were playing in front of 45,693 fans in attendance at the Estadio Nacional, Santiago.

Lionel Messi would be the only person to score for Messi Argentina in the shoot out as Gonzalo Higuaín and Ever Banega both missed their penalties.
Fernández, Arturo Vidal, Aránguiz and Alexis Sánchez all scored for Chile to be crowned champion on home soil.
