Chrisantus Uche, Arokodare Mark Premier League Debuts For Palace, Wolves

Super Eagles duo Tolu Arokodare and Chrisantus Uche had mixed fortunes on their respective Premier League debuts on Saturday afternoon.

Arokodare marked his debut with a start as Wolverhampton Wanderers suffered a 1-0 loss away at Newscatle.

Nick Woltemade scored on his debut for the Toons after his £69 millionobe from Stuttgart on deadline day.

Tolu Arokodare was on for more than an hour before he came off for Colombian forward Jhon Arias.

Meanwhile, Chrisantus Uche also made his debut for Crystal Palace as Sunderland held the Eagles to a stalemate at Selhurst Park.

Uche Came on as a second half substitute for Oliver Glasner’s men but couldn’t help his side grab a winner over the Black Cats.

In other results Bournemouth held on to beat Brighton Hove and Albion at the Vitality Road, Aston Villa held Everton to a goalless draw while Gabriel Gudmundsson’s own goal on added time gave Fulham their win of the season.
