Lagos State Governor: Mr. Babajide Sanwoolu said the state will be shutdown any moment from now in the state’s attempt to contain and control the spread of Coronavirus.
Mr Sanwoolu made this known to newsmen in a public address be this evening at the State house in Marina this evening.
In the words of Mr Sanwoolu:
We are moving to the direction of curfew, but there are indices and numbers we need to see, we haven’t seen that number yet to warrant a curfew.
“The disease is not a respecter of anybody. It doesn’t look at class, gender or race, everybody is at risk, that is why we need to obey the rules and regulations set for ourselves.”
At the moments, Lagos State is the epicenter of Coronavirus with more than 25 cases although it was reported that six patients have already recovered from the virus and three have been discharged as at today.
