COVID-19: 117 stranded Nigerians return home from East Africa. Pictures 👇
A total number of 117 Nigerians who got stranded in three East Africa countries due to the COVID-19 outbreak have successfully returned.
The evacuees from Uganda, Rwanda and Tanzania arrived at the International wing of the Murtala International Airport via AMZAN Air in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The airline tweeted;
The returnees are expected to go on a 14-day self-isolation protocol according to the directives of the Presidential Taskforce on COVID-19 as well as the National Center for Disease Control. Although, they all tested negative before boarding the plane to Nigeria.
A further test will be carried out on them before they will be allowed to join their families.
