The men’s senior basketball team of Nigeria, D’Tigers lost their last exhibition game 108-69 to Australia in Las Vegas.
D’Tigers came into the game on the back of consecutive victories against World Number one, United States, and the fourth-best team in the world Argentina.
However, Mike Brown’s men failed to replicate their previous successes against Australia as they lost all quarters.
Australia’s Chris Goulding was the star performance on the night with 21 points from seven 3points field goals. He also 3 rebounds and 4 assists in a dominant performance over D’Tigers.
Nigeria will take on Australia again in their opening fixture of the basketball event at the Tokyo Olympics on the 25th of July before playing Germany and Italy on the 28th and 31st of July respectively.
