Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna state has made a bold claim that he’s supported English Premier League side Arsenal since 1969, a little over 50 years now and still counting.
The former FCT Minister made this revelation in a tweet to congratulate his wife Hadiza and son Bello El-Rufai as well as political associate Senator Uba Sani who are supporters of Liverpool FC on the Reds’ league win after a 30-year wait.
CONGRATULATIONS!! My congratulations to my son & life-long @LFC supporter, Bello @B_ELRUFAI, MyOga @hadizel & Sen Uba Sani @ubasanius. Waiting 30 years for this is proof of enduring loyalty, matched only by those of us that consistently supported @Arsenal since 1969. – @elrufai https://t.co/JfrrCTwEvr
