New Super Eagles Eric Chelle has started working 24 hours after his official unveiling in Abuja on Monday.
Chelle paid a working visit to the Super Eagles Team B camp – the CHAN Eagles at their base camp in Ikenne, Ogun State.
The CHAN Eagles are preparing for the 8th edition of the African Nations Championship in Tanzania, Uganda, and Kenya.
He was accompanied by the technical director of the Nigeria Football Federation, Austin Eguavoen, and former Super Eagles forward, Victor Ikpeba.
The 47-year-old coach met with Daniel Ogunmodede, the team’s stand-in coach as well as the players as they congratulated him on his appointment as the 39th coach of the Super Eagles.
Eric Chelle had a brief discussion with the players before attentively watching their training session.
Chelle’s contract stipulates that he is expected to observe the team and play an advisory role during preparation and at the tournament.
