Everton join race to sign £54m-rated Super Eagles forward Osimhen

Everton are reportedly set to rival Liverpool and Napoli for the signature of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen who’s valued at about £54million.
The Lille starlet bagged 18 goals in all competitions while helping his side secure Europa League qualification along the way.
Earlier this year, Lesport10 claimed Liverpool held talks with the 21 year old but suggested that while Osimhen is open to a move to the Premier League, he will only be interested in a move to Anfield if he was guaranteed regular first team football.
Reports now claim Premier League side Everton are in the race to sign the Lille man. Everton’s wow factor in the deal, apart from being a relatively steady mid-table team which can afford the asking price is that they can certainly offer the striker more first team opportunities than the suitors.
If the deal goes thru, Osimhen will join a long list of Nigerians like Daniel Amokachi, Joseph Yobo, Victor Anichebe and Yakubu Ayegbeni to play for the Goodison Park side.
