Family, friends, colleagues and staff bid farewell to late Pastor (Dr.) Sunny Emmanuel Ojeagbase in a colourful ceremony in Lagos!

The family, friends, colleagues and staff of late Pastor (Dr) Emmanuel Sunny Ojeagbase paid their final respect to the deceased in a colourful service of songs ceremony held in Lagos.

Pastor (Dr) Sunny Emmanuel Ojeagbase, founder and executive director of Complete Sports Communications, publishers of Complete Sports and Success Digest passed away recently in the United States of America after a brief illness.

Alhaji (Dr.) Mumini Alao, the Group Managing Director of Complete Sports Communications, Dr Larry Izamoje, Chairman of Brila Media, veteran journalist, Deji Omotoyinbo, representatives from Living Faith Church ( Winners Chapel), and other Christian groups, former Green Eagles captain, Chief Segun Odegbami, FIFA under-17 World Cup-winning coach with Nigeria, Fanny Amun were some of the many dignitaries at the event. 

Tributes, encomiums, testimonies to the late Pastor (Dr.) Sunny Emmanuel Ojeagbase were many as the sands of the sea.

Alhaji Dr. Mumini Alao who called the deceased his teacher said he learnt three major lessons from him: dedication to work, integrity, and service to God who he said is the source of any achievement man gets in his lifetime.

Dr. Larry Izamoje, while sharing his tribute testified that a handful of veteran journalists today, learnt their craft at Complete Sports. The veteran broadcaster was close to tears while giving his tributes such that he had to stop at some point. 

One of the major elements that stood out in the tributes shared by the family, colleagues and associates of the deceased is that he was a caring father to all. The testifiers also confirmed that he had a solid relationship with everyone that he interacted with even beyond work and business. 

Some of the pastors present at the event testified that late (Dr.) Sunny Emmanuel Ojeagbase contributed to the growth of their fellowships at no cost. 

Prayers were offered to the family of the deceased whose legacies many agreed, will live forever. 

Mr Julius Ojeagbase gave the vote of thanks on behalf of the family as the event came to a close with a rendition of choruses from the members of the choir. 

Pastor (Dr.) Sunny Emmanuel Ojeagbase will be buried on the 31st of March at Eternal Hills Funeral Home in Atlanta, Georgia, United States of America.
