Chelsea has officially reached an agreement in the region of £47.5m with RB Leipzig for the transfer of highly rated German striker: Timo Werner.
The 24 year old striker has agreed personal terms which is reported to be in the region of 10 million pounds per year with Chelsea and will join his new club at the end of the Bundesliga season.

- Timo Werner was born in Stuttgart, Sout West Germany and began his career with Stuttgart where he scored 14 goals in 103 appearances.
- He joined RB Leipzig in the 2016/2017 season and became an instant hit where he scored 21 goals in 32 appearances.
- His cleverness in the final third is second to none. Although he’s not the most skillful striker but he likes to drift across defensive lines thereby creating space for himself and others.
- He’s currently enjoying a brilliant season with 32 goals, 13 assists in 43 appearances for RB Leipzig.

- His current career goal tally stands at 107 goals in 258 appearances at club level.
- At International level, since 2017, he has scored 11 goals in 29 appearances for Germany.
