Super Eagles midfielder, Frank Onyeka has been ruled out of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers against Liberia and Cape Verde next month.
The Brentford midfielder tested positive for COVID-19 before the match against Aston Villa at Villa Park on Saturday.
Frank Onyeka made this debut for the Super Eagles in a 1-0 loss to Algeria on October 9, 2020 in Austria.
The Super Eagles will take on Liberia on September 3rd at the Teslim Balogun Stadium before traveling to Praia to take on Cape Verde four days later.
The team will be without their Premier League stars for the match against Cape Verde due to United Kingdom’s travel restrictions.
