Gift Orban Scores Again In Gent 2-2 Draw

Nigerian striker Gift Orban was on the scoresheet again as Gent drew with STVV in a Belgian Pro League game.

Gent played out a 2-2 draw with STVV on Sunday, August 20 at the Ghelamco Arena.

Aboubakary Koita gave STVV the lead in the seventh minute of the encounter.

Mathias Delorge Kneiper doubled his team’s advantage six minutes later.

However Orban pulled one back for Gent in the 35th minute. The first half ended 2-1 in favour of STVV.

Jordan Torunarigha who recently switched allegiances from Germany to Nigeria from Germany scored the equalising goal for Gent in the 58th minute.

With his goal Orban has now scored six goals in six games for Gent this season.

Gent are second on the Belgian Pro League table this season with 10 points from four games.

Gent’s next game is a European Conference League play off first leg encounter with APOEL on Thursday, August 24 at the Ghelamco Arena.
