He is not good enough and he is the worst in Nigeria’s history! – Ex- Super Eagles striker Yakubu Aiyegbeni on Germot Rohr!

Reactions still trail.Super Eagles performance in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Sierra-Leone after the second leg ended in a goalless draw in Freetown.

Yakubu Aiyegbeni, while reacting to the performance of the team and a general assessment of coach Gernot Rohr’s tenure, said the Franco-German is not good enough for the team.

He also added that he is the worse coach in the history of Nigeria as he questions the quality of players he invites to the national team.

The former Everton striker expressed his disappointment while speaking on Sports Zone – a programme on Lagos Talk Radio.

When asked which coach should be hired if Gernot Rohr get sacked, he said a young foreign or home-based coach who can do the job properly should be hired.

He said;

“The coach is not good enough because if you look at the national team, we don’t know where he brings them from, the boys are not good enough. The coach is not good enough for the national team.”

“You have to show that you are good enough to coach the national team. We shouldn’t have given him a new contract. I think he is one of the worse coaches in Nigeria’s history.”

“Home-based coaches should be given a chance, we need young foreign or home-based manage who can coach the boys.”

“Our football is boring, we don’t have a system, we need to have a system of football.”
