He shouldn’t be playing for us! – Nigerians bash Alex Iwobi after Super Eagles loss to Cameroun!

Super Eagles’ poor run of form in recent international friendly matches continues as they lost to the Indomitable Lions of Cameroun by a lone goal.

Zambo Andre-Frank’s first-half goal made the difference in the night as the Cameroonians defeated the Super Eagles for the first time after three attempts.

Despite having better chances to score and probably win the match, Gernot Rohr’s men couldn’t convert any of their chances on the night.

One of the major culprits on the night, Alex Iwobi wasn’t spared by Nigerian football fans on Twitter as they criticized him for his poor performance.

Iwobi was on for 87 minutes before he was replaced by newly-invited Marcus Abraham.

The Super Eagles will take on Cameroun again on Tuesday in the return fixture in Austria.
