Here is how Nigerian players performed as the Bundesliga resumes

The German Bundesliga made a return after sixty-six days of no football due to suspension caused by the deadly Coronavirus outbreak.

Nigeria is the highest exporters of professional footballers from the African continent and some were in action for their respective teams.

 

1 Noah Sarenren-Bazee has not yet played for the Super Eagles of Nigeria yet but has been called up.

He came in for M.Richter in the 87th minute as Ausburg suffered a 1-2 loss at home to Wolfsburg. He played just three minutes with additional time.

2  Super Eagles first-choice left-back Jamilu Collins featured for all 90 minutes for his side as Paderborn were forced to a goalless draw by Dusseldorf.

3 Ademola Lookman has not yet played for the Super Eagles of Nigeria but has made a commitment. Lookman came in at the start of the second half for French Midfielder N Mukiele. In the 45 minutes, Lookman played he missed two chances and could not help as Leipzig were held to a 1-1 draw.

 

4 Super Eagles reserve goalkeeper Maduka Okoye was not included in the game squad as Dusseldorf played out a 0-0 draw with Paderborn.
