Brentford’s boss, Thomas Frank has expressed his delight at the signing of Super Eagles midfielder, Frank Onyeka who recently joined the club recently.
Frank Onyeka joined Brentford from Danish side, Midtjylland on a five-year contract.
The 23-year-old becomes Brentford’s first signing of the summer ahead of the new football season.
While speaking to the club’s official website, Frank revealed that he looks forward to working with Onyeka and he also revealed why the club signed him.
“I am looking forward to getting Frank in the building. We think he is a strong addition to the squad, and we are looking forward to working with him. He is a very dynamic player.”
“Frank plays as an eight in our system, he is very good at getting the ball from box to box and will be valuable to us when we don’t have the ball. He has come from the Danish league and was one of the best midfield players in that league, we think he has the potential to develop further. All the coaches here are looking forward to working with Frank and pushing him to a higher level”
Brentford who just gained promotion to the league will begin the new season away at Arsenal on the 13th of August.
