He’s not a Fraudster but a legitimate Businessman – Hushpuppi’s Counsel declares!

Counsel to alleged International fraudster Ramon Abass popularly known as Hushpuppi; Gal Pissetzky said his client is not guilty of the crime accused of him rather he is a legitimate businessman

Hushpuppi alongside 12 of his accomplice was arrested by Dubai Police last month for his involvement in Business Email Compromise amounting to 168 billion naira.

In another reports by the Federal Bereau of Investigation in the US, he and a syndicate were also accused of attempting to defraud an English Premier League club of 100 million pounds.

While speaking to Forbes recently, his counsel said;

“Absolutely not guilty of (the) charges they are accusing him of,” adding, “(he) was running a legitimate business and a very legitimate Instagram account and did not take part in any scam or fraud.”

Asked about he paid for his extravagant and lavish lifestyle, Gal Pissetzky said;

“He’s an entrepreneur. He has real estate involvement … (he’s) an Instagram personality. He was promoting brands and that’s how he was very legitimately making his money.”

Huspuppi has since been extradited to the US and his facing criminal charges which if found guilty could spend up to 20 years in jail.
