Leading payment firm, Flutterwave have made another remarkable stride in the technology space. This time, it is not about another $170m investment. Well, they might secure another one or more in the next couple of months. They are that good.
Flutterwave have secured a partnership deal with an international payment platform, Paypal which will make it easier for African business owners to make and receive payments all over the world.
The partnership will also help SMES and freelancers to overcome the tedious payment process presented by “highly fragmented” bank procedures.
It will connect African Merchants to the 377 million users of Paypal globally.
Just last year, Paypal’s 377 million users made transactions that amounted to $936b. And this does not include most African businesses.
However, the new integration will see African business owners in who use Flutterwave in Kenya, South Africa, Egypt, Morocco, Mauritius, Malawi, Mozambique & Senegal accept payments from PayPal users worldwide
